Model RR
I model the Denver, Rio Grande & Western Railroad (DRGW) through Glenwood Canyon in Colorado. This canyon is one of the most beautiful canyons in the world, it has been said that it is second only to the Grand Canyon. It has a railroad traversing the length of the canyon. The Denver, Rio Grande & Western was bought by the Union Pacific Railroad (UP) in 1989, however, I am using a certain amount of modeler’s license to imagine that the DRGW actually purchased the UP and has formed a partnership with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF) and so you will see both lines running on my model railroad.
I have been reading about model railroading for many years and finally have the space, time, and resources to be able to build a model railroad. There are lots of YouTube videos on the topic of building a model railroad, but I started my channel to show what it’s like as a first-time model railroader in action.
My YouTube channel is called “The Main a-TRACK-tion”. You can see videos of construction of my railroad and lots of how-to’s there. If you are a modeler or an aspiring modeler, click on over and let’s learn together about Model Railroading. The Main a-TRACK-tion is the place where our focus is on what is on our TRACKS, namely, our TRAINS. It is where we learn about Model Railroading and have fun in the process!
