I have lived and traveled all over the country. I love the oceans and prairies, the mountains and the flat farmland of the plains. Each is made to show a part of God’s awesome creative powers. I have been married for over 35 years to my awesome wife, Peggy. We have four grown kids. We make our home in the heart in the Ozark mountains, where we enjoy the natural beauty around us, with hot, humid summer days. When we were traveling as a band we would head to Arizona and enjoy a couple of months among the cacti singing and making friends with the snowbirds.

My Family I am Blessed!
I have been blessed with an awesome family. I have been married to Peggy for 35 years. We have four kids and (so far) one granddaughter and one grandson. For about 15 years we traveled part- and full-time playing Gospel and Bluegrass music all over the country. My kids have put their feet in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Some of our greatest memories are from our traveling days.
After we were done playing music as a complete family, three of our kids continued playing together for a few more years, until our youngest daughter got married and moved away. You can read more about their band and even find the music of our entire family on their website: HainingsBand.com.
We also love to watch old movies. Oftentimes we sit around the table after supper and quote our favorite movies. We always end up laughing and having so much fun.
